The Driskell CPA Firm, P.C., is an Alabama licensed public accounting firm created in 1990. We are located in Hoover, Alabama, in the Riverchase Business Community. We work with clients in various industries and professions and provide services to each based on their particular wishes and reporting requirements. There is no one size fits all approach with our firm and we try to tailor our services and the presentation of information to each client as that client wishes. All of the standardized reports are prepared in compliance with accounting standards, however, we have found that most clients have an interest in receiving specific information or metrics and we work with them to tailor reporting that meets their needs.

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, I earned the Personal Financial Specialist designation issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Charter Financial Consultants designation issued by The American College. Also a licensed securities professional I hold the Series 6, Series 7, Series 24 and Series 63 security licenses. A graduate of Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree I later attended the University of Alabama-Birmingham to complete an accounting major.
The Driskell CPA Firm, PC has now celebrated over 25 years of helping clients understand their financial conditions and plot courses to pursue their goals. I spread my time across various roles for our clients including individual, corporate, partnership and limited liability entity taxation; IRS representation; business planning and accounting; medical practice management; corporate and individual retirement plan design and implementation along with personal financial planning.
In addition to managing the firm I also spend time as a private pilot which allows me to work with clients regardless of their proximity. Flight time is also donated to VAC, Veterans Airlift Command, which is an entity offering private flights to veterans in need of medical treatments and other services. Additionally, I enjoy golfing on most Saturday mornings, fishing when I have the opportunity and spending time with my wife of over 40 years and our two children.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated and quality staff which is managed by Milicent Yeager a graduate of the University of Alabama with a BS in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Another University of Alabama graduate, Summer Finch, manages our medical billing staff.
